Or is there another?
I love most in their own way, but comedy is great by itself or in addition to anything else. Who doesn’t love to laugh?
Another great genre is musical.
Basically anything but horror. I’m interested in the concept of it, but in any media it’s nothing more than gross stuff and jump scares. Or disturbing, for example “Blood and Honey”. (Which is getting a sequel? What are those people smoking?)

Well, I really like Tarantino's movies, I guess that would be under drama/thriller
Although, for a man who doesn't write comedy, he sure does make me laugh quite a bit as well, so he's got it all
I like sci-fi and fantasy, but not romance. Only for Halloween I watch horror movies ; I'm a big fan of Ghibli movies: Kiki's delivery service, Arrietty, Totoro, Castle in the sky, Spirited away, Whisper of the heart...
Fantasy, Romance and Horror. If I had to choose one though out of these it would probably be Horror.

I hate most horror movies.
I like classic monster movies, as well as 1950s and 60s B movies.
Some sci-fi films are good, but I'm generally not into it. Fuck CG effects.I'm not all that into romance. Most of it is schlock. Hallmark movies make me barf. But I love some romance movies from the days of classic film.
Rom-coms can be really fun. My wife loves that genre.
Some action comedies are wonderful. I love Mr. Right, Killers, Bullets Over Broadway, Miss Congeniality, and stuff like that.
I love some comedies. Think of Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Cheech and Chong, Monte Python, some Peter Sellers and Woody Allen. But many recent comedians SUCK!
My favorite genre is action drama with lots of realistic action and killing. Except I hate sword shit and unrealistic martial arts. Fuck Asian bullshit. So action movies are no longer a category? Like Rambo, Terminator, Die Hard, mobsters, time cop, hard target, action jackson, speed, point break, lethal weapon, tango and cash... Yeah today's movies just don't do it for me too much CGI I want to watch a movie a film not a video game. So like Avatar never watched either one no interest because I find it boring 🤮 That's why I always say stay frosty, keep it retro and come Lord Jesus!
Firstly, my top ones are fantasy, comedy and horror, I guess fantasy takes the first place because it's a broad term and there are many fantasy genres in it. Sci-fi, romance, historical drama and western are cool too, but not in my top genres.
Secondly, western is a genre? By the pic I assume you mean the wild west. And it's a setting, not a genre. If you mean western movies in general, from the western cultures, it's still not a grene.
I'll watch kid movies. Robot & alien movies is definitely one, just no gore or anything like that.
I like to watch a mix of genres, but Sci-Fi is my favorite, what I watch the most.
Comedy for sure. Not totally sure what’s second place, but whatever it is, it’s distant.
Science fiction, even though so much of it is quite terrible.
I like a well-made movie with an interesting story that draws me in, whatever the genre.
OK, kind of a cop-out, but I have faves in most of those.
Anything but horror or Romance.. which can be frustrating because girls always love horror movies and I just don't want to crush her world lol..
Horror out of those, but I like documentaries over anything else.
It's aspirational and a grand narrative with the best setting you could ask for.
sci fi with action is ny fave.
a close second is fantasy with action.
out of those choices cowboy, otherwise action adventure & classic movies.
Sci-Fi and Fantasy, but the poll doesn't let me pick both.
You didn't put Action/Adventure. Definitely more popular than historical drama
Action packed, good dialogue, and drama, and that represents Rocky the Rocky movies
I like Science Fiction.
Out of the ones above Fantasy
Nothing beats sci-fi for me.
Comedies make my day happier :)
