Was the 2020 pandemic a great time of musical discovery for you?

I look back on that time and I found so much good new music back then, when there wasn’t a whole lot to do, and oddly enough it’s like with the times being so weird, if I hear that music now, it gives me those old feelings like the world felt like it was changing and just, weird vibes lol.

Not that I miss it, but as far as finding some really cool music, it was an interesting time in life for sure. In one sense it was nice to kind of have a break from everything and slow down, but I think it kind of did more harm than good. But a time of great personal discovery I think, it was.

Not really, I've been digging deep for most of my life.

I've also done enough of my own reflecting, missed enough of life. I don't need it to be imposed externally for a bad flu season.

As you can see, I don't really have much sympathy for what went on. Maybe the people in general needed a period of reflection, a great reset of a different kind. But of course, much damage has been done, much suffering wrought.

Maybe in the long term it will be a good thing. For more people have lost their faith in institutions and the scientific orthodoxy. Sadly, a great array of people are still fast asleep though.
