I started to notice. People are taking more pictures and videos of themselves. Have you ever done anything like that.

Yes.
I take pictures and video of myself regularly, with friends, family, spending time out with my dogs, etc. I enjoy creating vlog days for myself, so I can look back and watch my silly video in 5 years and remember the day / time, for what it was. :)
