I lived it, I think I know the 1990s quite well. The 1890s, not so much.

Having said that, I scored 6/10 on the quiz... actually a pretty difficult quiz, with lots of very rare trivia.

Yeah I did live through most of the 90s and scored 7 out of 10 surprisingly even though I was a child through all of it. It was quite difficult.

All of the questions are about American popular culture during that decade, so how is someone who didn't live in that country during that time supposed to know the answers to the questions without cheating by looking them up? I remember the 90's very well, so well in fact that I'm not so naive as to believe that life was somehow all so much better back then than it is now. It wasn't, but people have been blinded by nostalgia. Here are some of the things that happened back then.

1. The war in Yugoslavia and the disintegration of that country, 2. the Rwandan genocide, 3. the Monica Lewinsky scandal, 4. the first bombing of the World Trade Centre in 1993, 5. Operation Desert Storm (one of the largest wars since World War 2), 6. the disintegration of the USSR and subsequent chaos and impoverishment that resulted from that disastrous event, 7. the creation of PNAC.

I mean, sure, there were good things too, but strangely enough whenever people are asked to list the good things they almost always mention that "the music was better", or "the films didn't suck", or "life was simpler back then". Nothing substantial, nothing that actually matters.

It was before my Aunt who was more like my sister because we were so close in age died. So hell yeah the 90s was better than now. She was alive. 😔😪

F.. that.. I only got the first one right and I wasn't entirely sure about THAT. :)).. It wasn't 90's as in anything of interest to me though, it was all about arts and entertainment.. Which is not my thing at all!
