This is my all time favorite.. Over the Top (1987)

I've noticed a lot of people think this is an awful movie. I don't know why I see value in it where others do not. Lots of 80's movies had high cheese value, it was the way they were made. It's a decent movie.

Yeah wonder why people don't like it
I loved the scene where the kid finally finds his father's letters and runs out of home
I also use the line " You ain't got a prayer in Vegas" when someone's going to Vegas lol

Onward. The dad is a pair of legs, his two sons are Chris Pratt and Tom Holland in animated elf bodies, and they're trying to bring his torso back to life. It's a silly family comedy that ends with a very sweet note about father/son bonds

I decided on “Volcano”. It must have been a subconscious choice because i had totally forgotten about the “hero dad” angle of the story!
