Probably any grunge music will do but few I think defined my teenage years. then Nirvana. And while I say this I was never really a fan. I often said that The best thing to happen to Nirvana was Kurt killing himself. Because it eventually gave us the Foo Fighters who I think are far better.

Man, i grew up on nirvana, bought their their unplugged tape when i was just 8 or 9 years old and after 2 days they said on thr news that kurt cobain committed suicide, i was shocked!

You can never compare foo fighters to nirvana, i agree that dave grohl released his talents after the death of cobain but kurt was unique and nirvana is a legend!

Nirvana to me is like Green Day. Doesn't matter what song you post. They're all the same. We'll have to agree to disagree because I don't think Nirvana was that talented and they were just the right band for the right time. I think Kurt had a lot of psychological issues that we could pick through. But again, I'm not trying to argue or smear Kurt. Like I say, it doesn't matter Nirvana defined the grunge Era.

It doesn't matter if the man had psychological issues or not, but he's iconic and his voice and style were unique, even though i'm not a big fan of his lyrics cause their messed up but the man had big struggles and died very young!
