If you've ever been in a band, do you listen to your own records much?

Seeing as how I've played those songs live hundreds of times, I don't really HAVE to listen to them. Besides, I know what to expect. But, at the same time, I don't listen to very many of anybody else's records either, once I get so used to them, I don't HAVE to play them, anymore. I loved "Dark Side Of The Moon" but, I haven't played my copy in over 40 years. I just don't need to, anymore.

no... because it was more of a covers band

I did some vocals, original songs... for an underground band, but that stays underground... lol

We started out doing covers back in the `70's until Bob started writing his own songs in the early `80's. We've always done covers but, mostly just our material.

We didn't exactly stick with one genre but Bob liked to call it a punk band but, I can't see how! There's me on drums mixing in a lot of Bill Bruford, Adam Woods and Terry Chambers with my Keith Moon and John Bonham, a bassist that's a classically trained cellist, a singer who writes mostly songs based around sci-fi and comic books, one guitarist that can play Eddie Van Halen under the table and another that's more into hardcore metal than punk.
We did metal, new wave, hard rock, reggae, pop, blues, and anything else that tickled our fancy for any given song.
