Do you still listen to records?

I have all of my old vinyl records but no turntable. Fortunately, I can find most of my favorite songs on YT.
Thanks, Coach!
Thanks for reminding me to buy a record player, I just need to get off my ass and do it
I just got into the hobby myself 6 months ago. I am enjoying it.
All my stuff is cheap right now including a bose bluetooth speaker... if I am still listening to records and music in general this time next year I'll drop 5k on a good ol fashioned system for sure.
Absolutely correct. That is why they still cost so much today due to it's high quality.

Listening to records is actually one of the better hobbies that exists. You can go through a lot of changes in your life. With many hobbies you end up having to stop for one reason or another and move on.
Regardless what happens short of death. Most likely, you will still be able to listen to your records and get some enjoyment from them. As a disabled guy in a wheelchair now. I still have my Records and Music.
The only thing irritating is a person over your shoulder telling you that you should get rid of those obsolete things.
No. I don't like the cracks and noise of vinyl plates. Next point. If I like a song I buy it in master record quality in DSD or Flax for 2 bucks and I don't need a complete vinyl for 20-30$ that is filled with one or two good songs but remaining 10+ are just trash
Getting up to change a record kind of kills the mood sometimes. Much easier to listen to a MP3 CD that can hold a couple hundred songs. You can put on one CD and do whatever you have to and not even have to get up from the couch to change a record.
I do. I love to relax and listen to an entire LP. There is a warmth to the sound you do not seem to get by digitized music. Its too clean. Live music is never that perfect and nor is an old LP.
I have more than 50 pounds of LP Records all the way from the middle 60s until they stop making them. I have Frank Sinatra Records That my mother had even earlier. I even have a few varnish 78's
no i can not justify to myself buying them when i can listen to the music for free online lol
ik it's a different experience but that's how my mind works
I grew up listen to records, but I haven't done that in years. When I got divorced, my kids took some of the records in my collection of about 50 LPs, and the rest were sold.
I never had records, I started with compact cassettes. My parents still have their collection.
No.
Radio and Youtube.
My older cars used to have CD players and I listened to CDs. I had itunes on my old mac and I'd burn my own CDs.
My lifelong vinyl album collection of at least 75 albums were sold when I had to move and couldn't take them with me 😞
Gave all of my vinyls to my daughter who made me some Cassette tapes.
I've seen them on antique market stalls and black and white movies that's all.
Vinyl? Only if there is not high quality digital version available and that is the only way for me to be able to attempt to make a high quality digital version.
Vinyl has outsold CDs for a number of years now. The market is mainly streaming. For which artists are poorly remunerated.
Most of the money is in live performance.
No, I never really did, records were readily available when I was young, but tapes ruled, followed by CD
Maybe a couple of times a year. I do not have my turntable hooked up anymore.
I still use a Turn table, some of my favourite track/artists are not available on CD's or as Downloads.
No but have sold older ones. Still have a few for sale on eBay too!
I've recently bought one
Well pre-ordered the Pete and Bas album
Yeah sometimes but I need to set it up again but I have everything
No. I just turn on the radio to my favorite classic rock station
I still use CDs, if that counts.
