Do you think people who obsess over celebrities they have never met before have psychological issues?

One time a person on this website called me a “weirdo” after I just said “I have never been a fan” of this certain celebrity.

I personally just find it odd this person got offended at a comment like that. They have likely never met this celebrity before

I don’t want to repeat who this celebrity name is just in case their are other people who are obsessed fan and might also think of throwing an insult at me.

Tbf I think calling someone a weirdo for not having the same views is normal. As we find it odd when someone don't think the same.
If you like a film, and someone tells you it's trash your gonna think they are weird and wrong.

Being a fan is different than obsessing. People who obsess over anyone are weird to me. Being a fan is a healthy level of respect and appreciation.
