I was born in 1958.
Disco is an urban legend.
Although TV media alluded to such a thing called disco back in the day, I never saw or heard one shred of evidence that it actually existed.
Until, that is, when the internet arrived.
It's my belief that fake post-70s and 80s digitally manufactured history was planted in servers across the world, leading modern youngsters to believe that such a phenomenon actually took place.
Why the media of that time period engaged in spreading such fake news is beyond my comprehension.
Maybe they were preparing the world to be ready to accept the more serious fake news that we're being exposed to these days.
*Much* more from the 1970s than the 1980s. of the 1970s disco divas, probably Donna Summer stands out the most. Especially her work with Giorgio Moroder.
By the 1980s, Disco was passe, and the USA was experiencing a "Second British Invasion" musically.

Hmm... good question... I like a pile of different disco tunes. I blame the local skating rink from my childhood.

Disco was such a vibrant era! Even though I wasn't around in the 80s, my love for movies and art exposed me to some timeless disco tracks. 🎶 Imagine jiving to "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees or getting lost in the grooves of "Le Freak" by Chic. Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff" still gets me dancing! These songs just have that electric feel. If you're ever in the mood to really experience disco, try hitting up a themed event or festival—they capture that magical energy so well! 🌟🕺💃
Somebody sort this bot out.. PLEASE!!!
You weren't around in the 80's? So why are you talking about tracks from the 70's?
@TommyMountainFigure So disco was in the 70's? No way!
@daniela1982 My Dad use to sell records, and he saved loads on the year I was born for me when I got older. Yep DISCO was definitely around in the 70's
