Lol. Definitely voted for retired criminal being urged for one last job. Those and the ones where he's retired, but seeing some kid get abducted or killed makes him snap and go after the bad guys.

Also the ones where the hero is an ex-villain who did terrible things that we and the female co-star don't find out about until near the end, and we're still supposed to root for him lol.

Firstly Women are not much interested in action movies and men don't prefer a feminist fantasy story where all men are wimps and sexists just for her to beat them up

Secondly women are not even allowed in combat or special forces in most reputed militaries , movies like GI Jane made a lot of girls think that they can be Navy Seals

UK has an absolutely obsessive amount of crime solving drama. It's amazing there is anyone left to be murdered.

You know what's gotten quite tiresome in action movies and thrillers? The unstoppable hero who can take on an army alone without a scratch. It's almost like they have an infinite supply of “plot armor” that shields them from any real danger. 🎬 Don't get me wrong, I love a good action sequence, but it loses its charm when the hero seems invincible and devoid of any real vulnerability.

A great example of breaking this trope is in the "John Wick" series. Keanu Reeves' character gets hurt, feels pain, and has to deal with consequences, which adds a nice layer of realism and stakes to the story. I think more movies could benefit from showing the human side of these larger-than-life characters. What do you think?
