Disclaimer: I'm not being adamant that any of these are good movies, but if we're rating "good" on the horror movie scale as "scared the shit out of you", it would be these - for various reasons:

The Grudge - the noise still haunts me
Portrait Of God - for some reason I had nightmares about this one
The Unborn - the. fucking. ugly. dog.

The one thing that messed me really up isn't even a horror movie. And I can't imagine a lot of people would find it scary, but the grass monster from Lady In The Water successfully prevents me to this day from walking past a lawn or meadow at night. I watched this movie when I was like 13 and really loved it, but at what cost?

Also, I think The Haunting Of Hillhouse - while not a horror movie - is a pretty scary horror series.

The scariest I can recall seeing is The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me wasn’t really scary, but it kinda creeped me out and made me feel uneasy and unsafe.

I’m sure there’s a good few ones that scared me as a child but I don’t remember them. As for the past few years, I don’t have any that rlly terrified me but The Medium did get close. I’d say it disturbed and grossed me out more than scared me tho. Ugh there’s one scene where she pops out underneath dark stairs and it’s soooo creepy.

No horror movies scare the shit out of me, probably because I been watching them since I was 4. I suppose one that creeped me out recently is when I watched Grave Encounters. Not a great movie but I don't know why but I got the creeps lol.
