What's movie line always makes you cry?

I just watched one of my favorite movies, and there's one line that always makes me cry... I'll update after some of you posted yours.

These two scenes from Kingdom Of Heaven. In the first one Balian is receiving his inheritance from his dying father played by Liam Neeson. Balian is knighted and right after his father collapses as it was his last act. As they preform the last rights he's asked if he's sorry for all his sins and he says "all but one" meaning Balian because Balian was an illegitimate child he'd abandoned years. earlier. Which having a child out of wedlock is a sin. But he's saying he loves Balian and does not regret him.

This sets up this second clip much later. David Thewlis's character is about to ride out and confront Saladin's army. It's a suicide mission but his honor demands that he fight alongside the brothers of his order. So it falls to Balian to defend Jerusalem. So when Balian tells Thewlis's character "you March to certain death" he responds "all death is certain". He's acknowledging he knows he's going to die. Which is why he says "when I see your father (in heaven) I'll tell him what I seen you become". Basically saying I'll tell him You became the knight he hoped you'd become.

Its not a movie. I usually cry at live theatre. Its hard not to be overcome by the entirety of a LIVE HUMAN performance. Its like our early ancestors story telling around the fire. Its primeval and ingrained.

This is probably stupid, but...

I always get choked up in The Hobbit, when Bard is on top of the tower with his son, trying to take down Smaug. It's such an impossible situation and they're basically going to die. Smaug is taunting him and his son turns to look at the dragon. But Bard says, "Son, you look at me". Not the flames, not the dragon, not the screaming and dying townspeople. "You look at me".

It just reminds me of life, you know? When all this horrifying stuff is happening all around us, and we are so scared and don't know which direction to turn. And then someone we love reminds us, "No, that's not important. You stay focused on the things that are important, like how much you are loved and valued".

Gets me every time.

I don't really cry at movies. I'm trying to think about the last time I cried over a movie... Perhaps Bambi when I was really little. I remember yelling "NOOOOOO!" when the mom was shot (spoiler... sorry).

I do tear up a little when I see the price of a small popcorn and a water bottle AT the movies... Does that count?

Not a movie line but the theme song for St Judes hospital. I have loved you for a thousand years. Always makes me emotional when the ad comes on. I really like that song.
