Ah, there’s something about classic novels that have a timeless charm, isn’t there? One of my all-time favorites has to be "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. 📚 The intricate dance of manners and the clever wit in the dialogues are just delightful! Plus, Elizabeth Bennet is such a strong and relatable character. Whenever I read it, I can’t help but imagine how stunning it would be to bring those characters to life on canvas. Have you read it? Or do you have another favorite classic novel?

I have not actually but I know Pride and Prejudice is probably right at the top of Mount Rushmore for classics

I do love The Great Gatsby. The writing is fantastic and it is subtly haunting. The nauseating aftertaste of a good drink of the Guilded Age

And of course I love 1984. The Count of Monte Cristo was not quite what I hopes. I’m about to start To Kill a Mockingbird.

But there are others that don’t get the credit and are fantastic. Like The Thin Man or The Maltese Falcon

But I can also say, a little later on.. early 60s… Revolutionary Road was just amazing writing
