Yes, it would be cool to be able to fly or run faster than the speed of sound. But you might be needed to save the world during sex or it would get to be a drag to have some bad guy try and kill you.

Then there are all the frivolous lawsuits you would, get. Imagine diverting a river to put out a giant forest fire and it turns out a farmer needed that water to irrigate his fields and all his crops died. The next thing you know you are in court and some lawyer is trying to sue the tights off you.

This is what like about the movie Man of steel. Because Superman has always been set in the world of make believe, as such you can create that world in whatever image you like. Originally Superman fought for "truth justice and the American way". He made have been a globalist, but in a cold war sense. Zack Snyder's Superman dealt more with Superman's human qualties (even though he was Kryptonian he was raised human). Superman was in the unique position to enslave humanity if he wanted to and had he been raised Kryptonian he may have. But as Jor-el said he was the bridge between the two worlds. He could embody the best of both worlds. It's just fortunate he was found and raised by the Kent's.

But the point is Zack Snyder delved more into Superman's feelings. His emotions (fears and love).

I like the lyrics to this song by Five for fighting because we think of superheroes as being invincible. But even Superheroes hurt. Like the song says, "even hero's have the right to bleed".

Yes id have healing powers and inky have to deal with medical lobby.

Theyd have ine of the clintons assassins cause me to commit suocide by ahooting myself from 100ft away… but it be ruled i died of covid.

But, unlike the Avengers and the Justice League, I don't advertise it all over the world. Like, duh? Why can't we do good without all this publicity? And seriously, the bad guys are traumatized from their childhoods. They need therapy, not "SMASH! POW!" Their inner four-year-old is manifesting, with uncontrollable power in the mix. They need to learn emotional management skills.

I always told Tony it was a bad idea to be involved in all that, but it tickled his fancy and he couldn't let it go...

It would be lonely. Most everyone would want a piece of you out of some entitlement issue or get angry they aren't you and try to rip you up mentally, emotionally or simply just your reputation. If you are lucky enough to find a good person to be friends with you'll most likely rip their head off being the first time you react from all the built up emotions the others caused. Then your standing their grasping your only, once-possible, friend. Head in hand.

If I was super-powered I wouldn't be subject to the laws of normal people because they would have no way of enforcing it on me. If they tried to arrest me the cops would just get beat up initially, then they wouldn't even attempt it afterwards. As for being sued, I would just ignore the lawsuits and if they tried to take any of my assets I would simply kill them. I would make Homelander look like Mr. Rogers if they were too persistent about it.
