Would you have liked being a superhero or would you hate it?

Superheros like Aladdin, Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, etc. Would you actually enjoy it or really hate being a superhero.

Personally I would hate getting all that nonstoppable attention from villains and all of them coming after me (obsessed with destroying me), trying to either kill me or playing games on me. I would get tired of saving an entire city and being carrying such a heavy responsibility for too many people. At some point, I would wonder what I ever did wrong to get hated so badly from the villains, why can't they just leave me alone and go elsewhere, find someone else to hate. It's not fun having too many enemies.

I would like this. It is more than just putting the bad guys in jail or rescuing cats stuck up in trees. I would like visiting cancer patients in Children's Hospital and help raising money for Homeless Veterans. And it would be fun dangling a bad guy over the side of a ten story building to get him to roll over on his supplier.

Hard to say. What kind of superhero? Batman or Superman? I would like superpowers, that'd be cool. I'd like the opportunity to help people. But one thing they never talk about is the frequency in which Superman helps people. On a planet of 8 billion it would be a Neverending job. And what about the one you couldn't save? That would eat me up to want to be there but couldn't because I couldn't be in two places simultaneously. And you bring up a good point about Villains. Batman always said the mask is to protect those he cares about.

This is also why I like "Man of Steel" though. Because Zack Snyder delved into the real world implications of a man from another planet with powers beyond that of ordinary mortal men. We as a society would FEAR Superman as much as we celebrated him. Because he would be alien to us. Some would view him as a great threat.
