Read the novels. Darth bane orchestrated the deaths of 100 jedi and the entire rest of the sith order, butchered several other jedi in battle, and even when he finally died, his soul occupied his apprentice. The main storyline and main characters always have happy endings because it feels narratives good. But outside that? Nah. Darth andeddue never lost to jedi. Darth bane never lost to jedi. Nor Darth cognus, Darth darzu etc.
