Why can’t you fight Darth Vader in Jedi Fallen Order?

In 2019 we got to play as Cal Kestis in the Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order game. Then again in 2023 with Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. The first of which revolved around 2 inquisitors. The 2nd sister and the 9th sister who’d appear again in Jedi Survivor. After The 2nd sister who’d be revealed as Cere Junda’s former apprentice Trilla Suduri was defeated it looked like the game was over. That was until a more sinister foe showed up. And that foe was none other than the big baddy himself, Darth Vader. However for the first time ever it appears you can’t fight him. And what’s weird about that is every time Vader has appeared in a Star Wars video game, you’ve been able to fight him. The Force Unleashed and The Force Unleashed 2. So why can’t you fight him in this game

The game wants to make clear that Vader is on another level. Would you prefer a fight with a scripted assbeating? Inquisitors are comparably weak even compared to most Jedi, their fight always resolve by unfair methods or by fighting one Jedi against more inquisitors. Cal allready did beat some inquisitors which makes him a formidable fighter even without a complete training (padawan during order 66). He is far from being on Vaders level.

Starkiller though was something completly different. He was a strong padawan already and was trained in the dark side from a relatively young age. His force powers are something completly different which is the whole reason Vader took him under his tutelage. You know his first scene is starkiller disarming Vader, and he was a child at this point.

Force Unleashed involved plot armor and Starkiller having a strategical emotional advantage over Darth Vader similar to Luke. It's the only reason he won.

In lore, Darth Vader is insanely strong and would kill Cal while barely trying. Hell, if he didn't have his problem with lightning, then he could kill Sidious if he played his cards right.
