Where does Taylor Swift's huge success come from?

Personally, I find it hard to understand its success. Mind you, she's obviously talented, and you don't get to this level by chance.

But what surprises me is that she seems to have only one reference song, or at least I only know one song by her as being a real "classic", whereas we play a lot of American songs here.

But maybe in the US her songs are everywhere lol

I don't listen to her music and wouldn't recognize it if I did, but I had the same question and read about her years ago. She is a smart woman who has made savvy and strategic decisions. She has a decent voice that she has worked very hard to develop and create a signature sound, her music has broad appeal and is easy to pick up, and she had supportive parents and a dream that she was determined to pursue. She created a persona of vulnerability and relatability that connected her to a very loyal fan base.

Her music isn't really my thing, but I do admire hard work and determination. She has put in the work and become an icon. It's impressive.

Copying other people's songs that were hits so she is riding them to success. Frankly, I think Wham did "Next Christmas" way better than Swift who just copied them.

From crazy like minded women like her who more than likely think men are trash. Those who have been through bad relationships, whether it was father fault or not they more than likely blame the dude. There’s a reason why she’s 34 but isn’t married or doesn’t have kids. She has major issues. The prettier girl is who’s much older, still not married w no kids the mor problems she has. Because let’s face it men gravitate toward beauty, so if someone’s beautiful they don’t have much trouble getting men to come their way. Now w that said something about her personality is making them overlook her beauty that they’re not willing to commit to her.

The huge difference though, and why TS has billions of fans world wide, is that she's a decent, generous and apparently kind person. That will make everything you do seem more attractive and add to your success.

I don't know. Good marketing I guess. She's been around for quite a while and the record labels did an excellent job of making her a teen icon and sex symbol.
