I mean, I don't know any of her songs really. Last year, when some Turkish news outlet tried to pose her as the biggest star in universe, I realised I never even heard a song of hers, which is weird. I am a metalhead who listens to various other sorts of music, I am familiar with at least the popular songs of my own teenage years on pop etc.

Anyway, I looked he rup on YouTube, and realised that song of hers called "Blank Space" I at least heard at restaurants and something. Never really was interested enough to catch the melody that deeply

And Mike Portnoy made a drumeo video on her Shake it Up (Which showed how boring her songs actually are to be honest)

Other than that, I literally am oblivious to her

Young girls. Anything I hear from her sounds flat out generic, no rhytm changes, no key changes no nothing. Just a catchy beat with catchy and meaningless lyrics that are, obviously touch nothing even slightly prickly

I haven't known an actual diehard Taylor Swift fan since I was in college, and 100% of them were the same girls who were into Twilight and other angsty junk. She seems to just be a passive constant in music now that everyone acknowledges but doesn't really get excited for.
