WHY TF DO WE NEED CABLE?
IM SO DONE WITH IT!!!13 Reply- 1 y
Yikes that's a lot of services. We have YouTube TV, Fandango, Netflix, Hulu and the NFL network thing where you get all the games. Plus I personally have Crunchyroll and Hidive.

The paid stuff is either bundled or shared so it's far from full price but cable just grinds my gears!! š¤¬ā ļø

Do a free trial of DirecTV Stream and have your wife do a comparison between it and cable. DirecTV Stream is a little pricer then other live streaming services, but offers a lot of channels including C-SPAN, and you can purchase a Osprey box from eBay and get a cable experience with channel numbers on both the remote and guide.

I turned off the TV 5 years ago and I think I may be turned it on 10 times just while cooking dinner and only for about a half an hour just to see what's going on in the world I haven't really watched anything except for YouTube or porn on my phone LOL life is a little bit more relaxful that way and I don't have to hear all the drama or having all media stations trying to suck you into all drama to brainwash you into believing something

That's fair. I have a ton of DVD's and Blu-ray's myself but we started transferring them to Fandango/vudu so we don't have to worry about storing that many. We have hundreds of dvd's and over 650 movies on Fandango/vudu
Strictly streaming household here.
Awesome to see another anime fan though!

Loved Ouran Host Club. Fruits basket reminded me a bit of Ranma 1/2 which I loved too.
I tend to like romantic comedies, but straight up romance is good too. I loved; Bloom into you, Kenichi: the Mightiest Disciple, Toradora, Love is War and The Devil is a part-timer to name a few.

I've mostly shifted to streaming services too! I find them to be more flexible and tailored to my interests. With options like Netflix, Crunchyroll, and HBO, there's always something new and exciting to watch. Plus, the convenience of watching on different devices is unbeatable. 🎥📱 The variety offered by streaming platforms really makes it easy to explore everything from Hollywood blockbusters to indie films and K-dramas!

And no I don't pay for any streaming services, that's for rich folk who are lucky enough to realize that money every month is a damn lot for stuff one can watch for free.
Don't get me wrong this ain't hating on the rich just a fact and I would too if rich because it's kinda one's duty, think about it if no one paid for them they would just simply stop making shows.
So someone has to might as well be the rich.
Though if you not rich and paying for such... you need help in choices just imagine if you saved that money you would spend on those every month.10 Reply- 5.1K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic.
m 1 ymy TV is now, just a bigger monitor for my PC's
I used to have cable bundled with internet service, and only because the cable offered Netflix, and because I'd watch most of the NFL games if not all of them
however, since the networks decided to put most NFL games behind an extra pay/wall... I just cancelled the cable and "stream" the games from my PC... lol20 Reply 2.7K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I use broadcast TV, not cable, when I watch TV which is almost never.
I stream You Tube videos and an occasional old episode of a TV series but I generally do not stream TV either. Waste of time and $ both of which I need for more important things.
I do stream radio though.10 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. No, I finally cut the cord last year, the price kept creeping higher as the picture quality was reduced to free up bandwidth for Internet. Currently subscribe to DirecTV Stream for my TV needs, it's a little pricer then the other live TV streaming services, but it offers the best picture and sound quality, and it's the only streaming service that carries C-SPAN.

1 yI get Amazon Prime because I order so much that it is worth it for the free delivery alone. I also get Disney+ for free because WDPR is one of our larger clients. That is it. I almost never watch TV, preferring the movies I own and Youtube channels for music and chess.
10 Reply 461 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I use Dish TV through a satellite dish.
Although I'm no longer as happy with them as I once was, I'm not a fan of the streaming services.
My wife is, though, so we spend beaucoup bucks for TV content.10 Reply6.5K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I still have cable. It is expensive but after adding up all the services I would have to have to replace it I would not save much money and I would have to be available to change the channel for my wife.
