Are Brits really as crazy as they're shown on British t. v. shows?

Personally I don't care to TRY to understand what they are saying because of their accent. And I don't care for the British accent at all.
More and more American News channels, such as Fox News Channel have hired a few British people to give us our news. I usually change the channel when they are on.
They are very judgmental about Americans and speak about us in a negative way, which is understandable because we have complete idiots in our White House.
But are they crazy 🤪? Probably so. I think the way Princess Diana was killed in a staged so called car accident wasn't an accident at all. Some CRAZY PEOPLE wanted her to be wiped off the face of the earth so she wouldn't be able to say true things that happened to her at their hands.

In some cases, it's not so much the accents as it is the slang or just the way they pronounce certain words. Aluminum becomes aluminium. Or, in some cases, they put the accent on the wrong (according to us) syllable. But, some Americans do that, too. On the east coast, we say, BOY Scout. On the west coast, they say, Boy SCOUT
