Why are British people like this?

Do you realise the UK has had a lot of immigrants and refugees in the last few decades? It’s possible you may be speaking to a foreigner or a person who has foreign parents who immigrated to the UK so they grew up in a household culture that was different to the usual.

Annoying accent? Everyone has an accent. I was in London last year and had a great time. People were quite nice. We went to a bar having a sing-along and got invited to go with a group to the VC (servicemen's club).

Do they? I've met 3 or 4 around my hometown and all were very nice. Pip was very quiet but friendly. The others were talkative.
