It seems as if the talent was extraordinary, but I've heard that the writers were the reason behind it. What are your thoughts?
Nope, the music industry isn't about talent. Those that possess a marketable image and sell their "soul to Satan" by doing all sorts of horrible deeds are handed song lyrics, sometimes even vocal tracks from other singers, and instrumental tracks from ghost writers, ghost vocalists, and music engineers who take cuts of the cash. Often "stars" lip sink tracks at performances because they just don't have the talent. In the past they have had ghost singers record tracks like Matha Wash for C+C Music Factory and then have some dancer with a salable body pretend to sing it. Today they have autotune. The marketing people then leverage their control over mainstream media to push the product to brainwashed people with a false narrative of some artist that writes and performs all their own songs with brains, beauty, and the entire package so that others idolize them. In reality they are putting on a show with a lot of deception, because the music industry is the same as the movie industry, a bunch of actors with special effects and stuntmen controlled by nefarious people that want control over influential people... They create the "star" and then use them to persuade large masses of people to do what they want.
You can't hand that much influence to a "star" without maintaining control over that influence, thus all "stars" have to do fucked up shit like rape children at places like Epstein Island or Diddy Freak Offs (but there are many other handlers) so that blackmail files can be obtained... You've "sold your soul to the Devil", and as a result you get the fame and the lifestyle and in exchange you do whatever they tell you like promote Kamala Harris for President of the United States to all your brain dead adoring fans. If you ever refuse they destroy you releasing the dirt to ruin your reputation, send you to jail, destroy your wealth, and potentially have you suicide... "Stars" aren't talented. They are front men, an illusion, a deception.
The Devil has been openly telling you this for a very long time, but so rarely do people actually listen...

Motown had good writers and session musicians. They had a formula that worked. This becomes more obvious when you listen to greatest hits albums. For example I have a Supremes greatest hits album. When you hear all those songs back-to-back you realize that they all sound the same. There are some songs where you can barely tell the difference from one song to the next.
That's not to say that none of the bands or singers had any talent, because they did. But it was Motown that had the formula.
It was just a style of music that ended up in Detroit instead of LA.
It was honest raw authentic talent back then
Motown's success was a perfect blend of extraordinary talent and exceptional songwriting. The label boasted incredible artists like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Diana Ross, who brought charisma and unique vocal styles. However, the talented songwriting and production team known as the "Motown Sound," including legends like Smokey Robinson and the Holland-Dozier-Holland trio, crafted hit after hit. Their collaboration made Motown a cultural phenomenon that resonated with audiences worldwide. 🎤🎶
