I ust read that Jack Jones and Ron Ely both died recently. Who were they you might ask?

I remember Ron Ely as Tarzan from a TV series that ran from 1966-1968. Okay, the show was kind of lame. But he also had a long career in film and TV.

You know Jack Jone's voice. He sang the theme to The Love Boat. LOL
He also sang The Impossible Dream from the musical Man of La Mancha.
He won 2 Grammies and was nominated for others.

I wasn't into his music at all but he was an icon with a long and successful career.

Those shows were before my time. I've never even seen Tarzan on old movie TV channels, like ME TV. 😮 Cheetah says he was a pain in the ass.

Johnny Weissmuller was interviewed and he said that Cheetah was difficult at times. He had been bitten by him and he said he used to get a crazy look in his eyes and thats when he got the big stick he used to keep handy. It is ironic that Cheetah outlived him. I think i read somewhere that Cheetah was in his 70s when he died.
