I'm curious: has a petition ever brought back a cancelled series? I mean that as a serious question because I'm not aware of it ever happening, at least not since streaming services took over.

When show runners make these decisions, they see the actual viewership numbers and are making a financial decision. When a show simply doesn't have the support, they pull the plug, and that's the end of it. I assume this one had a significant drop in viewership between seasons. Even if something picks up a cult following afterwards, that usually ends with a reboot rather than a continuation, if anything at all.

In fact after a quick Google search (trying to find costs), it tells me that they have already moved on and are continuing the show's story through graphic novels.

I don't think so because when the first trailer came out people that were fans of the original Winx Club were not happy because of all the whitewashing, the terrible outfits and the complete termination of one of the original characters Techna so I feel like if this show did manage to get another season fans of the original Winx Club would attack Netflix with angry comments
