Never in my life thought I would be answering a question on soap operas, but I remember my mother watching the debut episode of this show when I was a kid. That was a long, loooong time ago.

Suffice to say that she is still watching at 81 years of age. So my hunch is that you will be watching this one for a while longer.

That said, her favorite was and still is, "Days of Our Lives." If I come into her house and that was is on, I still have flashbacks.

Beware! This is your future.

(Just to add, as a boy, I preferred the game shows. "Price is Right." "Let's Make a Deal." "Joker's Wild." Now THAT is classic daytime television!!

Well, I hope your mom will be able to watch her favourite soap opera for a long, long time. Can your mom keep up with the show when you were younger, or did you make too much noise? 😂 ( just kidding )

The other soap opera I don't know, but it seems to act a bit like a sort of madeleine de proust on you lol.

Le juste prix is really a great show, I enjoyed watching it, you don't have to hide lol.

Surprisingly, the French title of "The Young and the Restless" has nothing to do with the original, in French it's called "Les feux de l'amour". " The Fires Of Love "

Anyway, I hope to see the end of this show one day, or I think I'll be dead before it does 🤣

I remember watching Days of our Lives when I was unemployed almost 30 years ago. I think that it is still on the air as well.

I'm wondering the same about bold and the beautiful. Oh my goodness haven't watched it in like a year and turn it over today to see the are still carrying on the same damn storyline.

I think they will only end when people stop watching or at least when the viewers drop

As long as people keep watching, it will never end…. I haven’t watched it in more than 20 years but could still probably get up to speed after a few episodes.

No, I don't watch this series personally, but my grandmother does, and the episodes are available in French.1
