Will the Percy Jackson TV series be another bust?

Okay, yes, Riordan is part of it and he probably greenlights all decisions, but Annabeth isn't even white in it. I don't think it works without her being white. Black people don't have naturally blonde hair. That's one of her distinguishing characteristics. I know the movie was a failure in a lot of ways, but they could have made it successful if they listened to Riordan without much trouble. I don't know if the TV show can overcome the fact that Annabeth isn't even the correct race.

I loved the movie but if that brunette daddario with her boring acting could be a “blonde” anabeth than anyone can. I dont think anyone can play as good of a Percy as Logan. And Rosario was a good Persephone

Calling it a film adaptation of the book is like calling Taco Bell real Mexican cuisine. Actually Taco Bell is closer to Mexican cuisine than that film was to the book.

Anything that shares the same title as a book and is inspired by the book is a film adaptation to me. I told you when i made the LoTR post that i only care for movies and dont read any films book
