What’s your all-time favourite movie?

I think it has to be ‘Rumble Fish’, starring Matt Dillon, Diane Lane and the ever surprising Dennis Hopper. The movie centers on the relationship between ‘the Motorcycle Boy’ (Mickey Rourke), a former gang leader wishing to live a more peaceful life, and his younger brother ‘Rusty James’ (Matt Dillon), who aspires to become as respected as his older brother.

The movie was shot on high-contrast black-and-white film, with the occasional splash of color. All with a fascinating musical score by The Police drummer Stewart Copeland. Maybe precisely today, International Men’s Day, it’s an interesting tale about a younger brother looking for a role model and feeling desolate when his older brother gets into trouble big time.
