Alice Cooper is music I'd never listen to, but I respect the artist as a person. Was never a fan of Jacko or Prince but I respect the talent.

I've played orchestral double bass and I've sung Country (badly). A "good" performance is just one that meets the emotional movement the audience expects.

What makes a good musical performance happen? It's not lights jumping off of everything and everyone or flames and sparks running up in the air and it's not 50 musician's on a stage doing what 4 to 5 musician's could do better. First of all a good musical performance requires good music music with emotions not a bunch of self destructive noise that destroys morals society and family. That defines good music.
