I think I just found the worst movie ever. What is yours?

Mine is Girls Just Wanna Have Fun from 1985 starring Sarah Jessica Parker (before she got annoying and married a gay man), a very blonde Helen Hunt (who dated that same gay man before Sarah Jessica Parker married him), Shannen Doherty who was only 13 playing 12 but hanging around with a 20-something crowd, directed by the guy who directed Back to School and Xanadu.

I think I just found the worst movie ever. What is yours?

Shannen Doherty doesn't really have a starring role, I think they just said that so they could have 3 girls on the poster.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with the Cyndi Lauper song but not with Cyndi Lauper singing it. She didn't own the song, so she couldn't stop them from using it, but she wouldn't let them use her recording of it, even though she was in the movie (in a small part).

Except in the trailer, then they did use Cyndi Lauper's version.

by the way as is often the case, the trailer is better than the movie. And that's not saying much.

A movie about dancing like Flashdance or Footloose or Dirty Dancing, except with no dancing, it was all gymnastic tumbling moves.

No professional dancers until the final "big dance scene," so everything up until then was just horrible bumping around and fast cuts to try to make it look good (it didn't).

As for the rest, the same old 1980s movie problems, bad acting, bad writing, bad editing. Not to mention bad clothes, bad hair, bad makeup.
