They aren't don't get me wrong nothing somone under 18 should be reading. If you want straight up smut that would be the ritual. There is pretty much no plot in that book.

But I know currently in the books on a alien planet a raining monarch was assassinated and has been replaced by woman whose trying to become the voice for the entire planet in when talking to the galactic council but she is a terrible woman who probably killed her mother did get her position.
If I remember correctly she won the election by threatening and bribing the other countries.

Don't get me wrong it's still a sci-fi romance book so yes there's smut in it but I can't read straight smut *cough cough* the ritual*cough*

Nothing wrong with liking the book nothing wrong with disliking the books everyone has there own taste

You're fine you like what you like so as long as nobody is lashing out and saying your a horrible person because of what you read I'm not offended.

Not everyone likes smut not everyone likes romance and definitely a lot of people don't like sci-fi.

But I have a lot of odd interests and when you dip your fingers in every pool there's a lot of people who don't like it or think it's dumb. That doesn't mean I'm upset by it or be discouraged from doing it.

For instance I just started playing dungeons and dragons with some coworkers a lot of people think it's lame or called me a nerd doesn't make it any less fun for me.

I read sci-fi , romance , high fantasy, historical fiction, history, Frick all straight up Read a biology textbook in the work break room.

One of my favorite books was called the runaway children. Which was about children during the blitz in London when they shipped them off to countryside.
