Someone who is entirely emotional based magic. She can manipulate people's emotions sure, but she also learns new abilities without trying when experiencing extreme emotional circumstances. Her emotions and magic are also tied to the main elements of earth, fire, water, wind, thunder, and ice. So when she feels extreme emotional guilt she inherits a new earth based ability like conjuring sand for example or using her fingers like a squirt gun after experiencing extreme sadness.

Basically that's my characters backstory in ffxiv when I write roleplay with her. She's a blend of a blue mage and someone who uses dynamis magic. I can't think of a hero exactly like that. Sure there are someone who can absolutely control emotions, but the second half I can't think of any.

Unless you've read ALL BOOKS in the world there's no way to guarantee that your character will be 100% original. There are certain heroic/villainous archetypes that repeat over and over again throughout the history of film and fiction because they're SUPER appealing and easy to write a plot around, so... there you go.
