I learned this story through a song, there was a guy whose life was saved twice by the same stranger.

The first time he was in line at a pizza shop in Israel and then a stranger offered to switch places so he could butt in front of him in line. He switched places with the guy cause he was busy and did not have time to wait for his food and after he left the pizza shop, the pizza shop got bombed, and he realized if he did not switch places with the guy, he would be have been the wounded person and not the stranger who offered to switch places with him.

He follows the stranger to the hospital, and gives the victim his contact information, saying the victim saved his life by switching places with him at the pizza shop and if he ever needed favour, he could call him up for help.

Later the guy who escaped the pizza bombing unharmed is working on Wall Street and the stranger who said his life, his son calls the Wall Street guy on the phone saying they were in town for medical treatment and wanted the Wall Street guy to be at his bed side to pray with him and give him good luck during his surgery.

The Wall Street guy takes the day off work to pray with the stranger who saved his life during the pizza bombing, while the stranger who saved his life is going through surgery. As the Wall Street guy prays for the man who saved his life, the trade towers that he worked at were bombed by the two terrorists during 911.

So this stranger saved his life twice: once from the pizza bombing and the second time by convincing him to take the day off work from his Wall Street job the day the trade towers at the Wall Street towers were bombed.

And the song goes, using the word Hashem which is the Hebrew name for God, that Hashem, the Jewish God, is watching over him and saving his life from disaster.
