I think we all have one. You moved and forgot something, things got broke, or the truck broke down in transit and you slept on the floor of your new place.

Do you have a bad, or maybe funny, moving story?

Lmao... which move. I've done like 14 or 15.

The time all my tools got stolen.

The time the ship was late to Guam and we had nothing except what was in our suitcases for five extra weeks.

The time they broke the piano.

The time they broke one glass of a matching set but would only pay me for one even though I could only buy in sets of four.

It's been an adventure.

Literally as I was moving boxes into my new apartment, there was a fire evacuation of the whole complex because someone on another floor had a mini fire because their cigarette that wasn’t put out properly. As you can imagine it freaked me out for a fair while!

Only bad/expensive. We moved from the USA to Australia, and our music collections alone cost just over $20,000 to move. To make it worse, it all got stuck in customs for 3 months, and we had a crazy fee to get it all out of there. Nightmare.

I helped a notoriously unreliable guy to move house. We were supposed to be five or six people, but his „friends“ were just like him and never showed up. 🙄
We moved the entire household including kitchen and some heaters on our own. The next day I felt every bone and muscle in my body. 😵‍💫

Before I got married we had rented an apartment. While I was moving all our stuff into the apartment I left our wedding license on the counter and forgot about it. We looked all over the place. I tried to call the town clerk to see about getting a copy but could not. Finally very late at night I found it

Got my bike stolen. About a month ago when was worn out. Needed tune ups. New bike seat, paint job, brake tightening, etc.

Some sneaky rat quickly took it when I just leap into the restaurant just for a min ☹️

I think the worst thing that happened was a box or two flew off of the trailer on the freeway and we’d pulled over and I ran back and I brought the boxes and we tied them down better.

It happens when I was moving to Alaska I had my truck box full and I was half way to my destiny when my dad called and asked why my car trailer is in the middle of the drive way I looked in my mirror and seen that there was no car trailer be hind me so I drove about 20 hours back to grab a trailer
