Does netflix ever make more episodes?

I watch all these movie series and it's like they all end right where it really starts to get good and I'm like well that was a waste of time if they're just gonna leave me hanging like this.

Netflix pulls the funding on under-performing series but runs what they have because eventually they'll get their money back on them. Each episode costs $10 to $20 million. Before Netflix, television episodes used to cost around $3 million each. I don't think ABC every paid more than $1 million for an hour of television.

Script Writers for those series have no talent and 95% of Netflix series have lost their audience after three episodes. I don't think more seasons are necessary due fatigue of the audience.

They don't ever make a second season though. Unlike regular cable, the next season comes out a year later. The series I was watching came out in 2019 and supposedly they're just now coming out with a 2nd season. Who's going to watch season two 6 years later?

That's called marketing. They leave you hanging so that you cone back to see if there's a sequel, and while you're there, you watch another one.
