Which Final Destination movie was the best to you?

While 1 and 2 will always be up there for me, 3 was the best one in my opinion.

4 and 5 were not that great and fall last.

Going to see Final Destination-Bloodlines tonight with my guy so we'll see if my rating changes.

So I saw Bloodlines and it doesn't top the first 3. It had a new element to it with it being in the family but that was about it. It's still the same formula overall. Glad I got to watch this for free.

I also like the first one, and the second one.

I have yet to see the new movie in the cinema.

Yeah I'm hoping the new one is as good as three or at the very least as good as 1 or 2. I've heard mixed reviews. I guess we'll see.

The final destination aka 4 and 2nd film both take the top place. All the rest of the films are meh.

I don't get how anyone says 4 is bad, it does the first film but way better. The deaths in it were so violent and the swimming pool death is still by far the most gruesome, then the ending is perfect with the way it all lined up. And Nick is the closest we got to being smart like Alex or Clear from the 1st.

I don't know. I just think the rollercoaster death was so much more appealing in that it could really happen and has kept me from being on one. I agree with 2. That could actually happen as well. 4 honestly put me to sleep. But to each their own.

I see that differently roller-coasters typically have better matience therefore more safer than what happened in 4. Since 4 was due to two lack of proper maintenance on the cars and on the shoddy stands.
And that's more realistic to me as I know roller-coasters are heavily matienced due to the nature of them while the place you just sit to watch cars... Probably more oversight.

Though tbh I don't really care about the actual accident at the start that's not what makes me watch the film as they're all mostly very bs.
I care more about how they actually try to out smart death, which 4 and 2 did very well.

And 3 does end similar to 4 but I don't know it felt more cheap. Same with how 1st felt cheap too, esspacilly with the way Nick just gets an off screen death, and somehow Clear survived though she did make the 2nd film really good...

I'll have to check out 4 again. It's on Max so I may check it out today and give it a better judgment. Maybe I judged too harshly because I didn't like the Nascar aspect in the beginning but you're probably right. It probably is much better than what I remember. I know 5 is definitely meh though.

5 is awful... No doubt there. Only good part was it tied in with the guy getting on the flight 182.

I've rewatched 3 the most as I always try to like it but just can't even though it has ya know the most attractive actress lol

I consider myself a pretty good critic of films but I always end up defending the one film in a franchise that everyone says was awful, can't defend 5 though...
And I also typically don't like the first film in the franchise ethier weirdly.
Like Scream, Predator, Alien, Chucky, Paranormal activity etc I find the Sequal to be way better, and then some later films to be better or just as good as the Sequal.

Yeah it was kind of dumb. I wouldn't spend money on it if I were you. It's just the same formula. I would wait til it streams.

I hated the first, because it kinda scarred my childhood.. I was afraid of freight trains for a while and it made it hate horror movies... Well actually my mother's reactions to seeing blood and gore did that.. But I actually watched the second one and I kinda liked it.. All that just to say... Aside from the second one I'm not a fan..

@Simslover92 yep sometimes I wonder the "real reasons" behind "the why" some movies get rave reviews plus do well at the box office - some sort of bias perhaps somewhere in the system? That's all I can think 🤣🤔 there's always something fishy on Earth without suggesting anything illegal is happening, I just mean - shrug - a bias somewhere perhaps is why some movies seem to do well while other movies just sadly don't even make back the marketing

Weird but it definitely made you think about being more careful in your day to day life. Freak accidents do happen more often than we think. I definitely stopped driving behind a log truck after 2.
