Underworld - Born Slippy, because of Trainspotting (1996)
Fell in love because this track incarnates the meaning of this movie to me. It starts with a peaceful intro, too good to be true. Then as it progresses, it reveals a nagging rhythm, stabbing contractions, obsessive melodic lines. It confirmed for me that something felt off in this life, in this world. Like massively off lol
there's at least one song I know because of a movie... and I like it
Yes! That's one of my favorites! The song and the movie. Drive was incredible and Nightcall even more incredible! I actually heard the song before I saw the movie.
damn... haha, that's the second song we both know... and I hardly ever met people who know about them lol
have you heard of this band before?
Portishead...

I'll soon find a song by someone you don't know, lol

A song that captured my heart because of a movie is "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper from *A Star is Born*. The raw emotion and chemistry between the characters made the song unforgettable, elevating the entire film experience. 🎤🎬

There's probably a few but the only two I can think of off the top of my head are:
Love On A Real Train / Tangerine Dream ("Risky Business")
Push The Botton, Max! / Henry Mancini Orch. ("The Great Race")
Damien Rice The Blower's Daughter from the movie Closer.

Side note: Bittersweet Symphony was entirely sampled from the Andrew Oldham arrangement of The Rolling Stones' The Last Time. Messrs Jagger and Richards sued the Verve and won 100% of the royalties.

Berlin Take My Breath Away from the movie Top Gun
It wasn't the song. It was the combination of Costner and Houston. She was an alley cat in real life and I wanted Costner to save her.
