What's your favorite song that only exists in a movie?

Gotta go with You’re The Best Around from The Karate Kid...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/oomCIXGzsR0(Love the crazy eyes from Dutch at 3:16, he was the real psycho of the Cobra Kai guys, lmao)
Also love Holiday Road from National Lampoon’s Vacation, that shit SLAPS...
Always liked this one from Teen Wolf when I was a little kid (also, spoiler alert, it’s the end of the movie... and the guy at top-center at 1:46 is, at best, realizing his fly is down, or at worst, intentionally trying to hang dong😂)
https://www.youtube.com/embed/viCZGUb9rhUAnd last one then I’ll shut the hell up, it’s actually a TV show and not a movie, but L-i-l (GAG please fix this and stop autocorrecting to “little”) Dicky has a RIDICULOUS song about jail in his show “Dave”, which unfortunately I can’t find in totality, but here are the four parts...

Haha ikr 😂 but the first i heard of him was the one wih him and chris brown trading bodies
From "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly", the greatest of all westerns:
The theme:
"The Ecstasy of Gold" in which Tuco is desperately trying to find the grave of Arch Stanton at Sad Hill Cemetery - a grave he believes contains $200,000 in gold during the Civil War.
and "The Trio", the music played during the defining "Mexican Standoff" between Tuco, Blondie, and Angel Eyes.
I also love the music from Solaris, the 2002 George Clooney, Natascha McElhone movie.
This is how it ends.

The song is "We Don't Have To Think Like That Anymore", but much of the music in this film sounds the same.

Here is the entire soundtrack starting with the first song "Is That What Everybody Wants"
www.youtube.com/watch
OOOPS... This is how the movie ends...

Everyone of a certain age will instantly know this epic WW 2 movie theme:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85vYBoiLpuE
If I want to feel scared or edgy, the theme from "Aliens":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-jGrL7U09Y
or lighten it up with "Ghostbusters".

@COMMODOREII I think you might like this music.
The only movie I've seen this song in was Kelly's Heros. It says Clint Eastwood actually sang it in the movie but it must have been cut out of TV edit.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/1sCo5GaDq7kThe shape of water ( the track instrumental when girl is in bus) bdw here is my question if anyone wanna answer... How do I look ( from love ~ dating/wife / relationship angle)? ↗

I love that! It's such a sweet song! This one is a stretch but electric dreams was a movie about a computer that became alive with emotions and the human league did a song I believe for that movie.. I have not heard it anywhere else and it fits the title of the movie, together in electric dreams

Now let me tell the story, I can tell it all
About the mountain boy who ran illegal alcohol
His daddy made the whiskey, son, he drove the load
When his engine roared,
They called the highway thunder road.
Sometimes into Ashville, sometimes Memphis town
The revenuers chased him but they couldn't run him
Down
Each time they thought they had him,
His engine would explode
He'd go by like they were standin' still on thunder
Road.
[Chorus:]
And there was thunder, thunder over thunder road
Thunder was his engine, and white lightning was his
Load
There was moonshine, moonshine to quench the devil's thirst
The law they swore they'd get him, but the devil got
Him first.
the whole band/thing, "Munchausen by Proxy" with Zooey Deschanel, from the movie "Yes Man"
which by the way has the lyrics that I found hilariously cute first time I heard it. (related to your other question)
" I wanna snap your neck and spit on you "
Pretty much most of the songs in "Josie and the Pussycats" including the Du Jour songs like "Backdoor Lover" :
https://www.youtube.com/embed/iwykvrwvWW4"I'm your back door lover
Comin' from behind
With the lights down low"
But my favorite by the Pussycats is "Three Small Words"
.6 whole hours and
5 longs days
4 all your lies to come undone
3 small words were way
2 late. can't you see that I'm the
1
another favorite, totally different genre (classical) "Song for the Unification of Europe" from a French film "Bleu" (one of a series of three movies, each after a color)

Oh hard one.
I was going to go for a couple, then realised some were released prior to movie being released.
Sticking to Disney and the best Princess. The second is haunting and reminds me of so many times across the border.
That’s just too funny a down vote for a Disney sing 😂😂😂😂
It’s like downvoting pizza
Song even
David Grey-Sail Away
Played in the movies- 15 minutes & Angel Eyes both films came out in 2001
Very powerful song something I can relate to ✌️
this song is my theme song and it does nt exsit outside of the movie
i know this song is awesom and fits the movie as well
Bright Side of Life - Monty Python
https://www.youtube.com/embed/L2Wx230gYJwLet's see how many people this offends, if it stays up. I'm not doing it to be controversial, it really is the only song that comes to mind.
Every Disney movie has them. Soooo hard rock choose. Under the sea, colors of the wind, a whole new world.
Circle of life from Lion King is has always really moved me too. And let it go from frozen. They evoke emotion.
The opening theme from The Rock (1996), by Hans Zimmer, back when Michael Bay made good movies.
Basically anything by Hans Zimmer is solid gold though.
Hm that’s hard. I don’t rlly know but I guess Alice in the Wonderlsnd - in a world of my own.
This is great! I never knew that Phil Collins had done a version of this song!
@Jamie05rhs A song that I shared with a past girlfriend, and it was "Our Song". I can't help but remember her, and all the good times, every time I hear it now, sadly, in Target, or Walmart music. . .
@JackSmy. Aww. That's really sweet.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
The Oompa Loompa song from Charlie chocolate factory
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Truly Scrumptious, Augustus Goop, Reflection (Mulan), Under the Sea, and Not One of Us

Let me tell you mother fucker something you better bring a strong lunch and liquid lunch to watch this movie!

The song unfortunately reminds me of my resentment of how guys are normally expected to be the ones to initiate the first kiss or basically escalate just about almost everything in the beginning.
I know feeling this way of course won't change anything and it will only make things worse but sometimes I have had resentment towards women due to how passive they are
Um. What is this nonsense
There is no denying the fact that I'm right in what I said
@ Blue Anon, what you been drinking lmao 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You really need to be a different colour, you are definitely not a man
@ChrisMaster69 why am I not supposed to detest or resent this that men are always the ones to go in for the first kiss?
Because in life they are far worse things than simply getting a kiss.
It does not matter at all who makes the first kiss, but to detest men having to make the first move, simply show how narrow minded you are.
I have dated and are friends with girls that make the first move, instigate things.
Even if was a guy everytime, then live with it, savour those soft lips.
@ChrisMaster69 if I remember correctly you are from the UK?
Yep UK
@Anonymous Your feelings are valid.
Fight by No vacancy in The School of Rock.
I have no clue why this audience isn't impressed...
Beelzeboss from Tenacious D. Dave Grohl as the Devil is just hilarious.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/vOBKxUT9Da4Beauty and the beast. It’s such a simple song but the weight of the song is amazing it doesn’t even sound like a Disney song. Peabo Bryson and Celine Dion.
This one. It was (sadly) never intended to be 'completed' or to be published outside of the movie.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/3_eAWrJHfRoStop looking at me Swan!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/TPsW2FYprfIOMG!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Amazing song! 🙌
"Did you ever wonder why" from Dickon Hinchliffe. It's a song that is in the movie "keeping mum". Such a romantic and calm song.
Disney songs in general are pretty great, plus musical movies if they count
I see the light-Tangled
"Step In Time" from Mary Poppins. The dance sequence over the rooftops is amazing!
I see the light- Tangled
I’m almost there- princess and the frog
Let it go- Frozen
Let it go is a deep song and can be applied anywhere. That’s a perfect song.
Not a movie but TV show, one from Boardwalk Empire that's not on the soundtrack (like the only song not on it lol). Name escapes me at the moment, will update lol
I’d have to say Collective Soul- Run in Varsity blues
I also like Guns N Roses- you could be mine in Terminator 2
i mean original soundtracks are a thing xD so those songs exist outside the movie.
Born Free - Andy Williams (1968)
https://youtu. be/3eZVHkQiOp4
I thought it was the song from this movie:
https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0060182/
But it's a different song, I guess?
It is from the movie Born Free from 1968. The movie is about a lioness named Elsa. @Jamie05rhs it is tied to the movie that you cited from IMDb, although it isn't directly tied to the movie per se.
Yes! That's the movie! The one with the lions.
@Jamie05rhs Yes that is the movie.
... And that is the song! I just listened to it to make sure. :)
Mine is kiss the girl from the little mermaid as well
