Currently, I'm happy with turn-based strategy, as in 4X & tactical-RPG, and when I want real time action, I go to Metroidvania genre. In the past I have invested a lot of time in MMO FPS, solo C-RPG, solo J-RPG, platformer and point & click.

An Elysian Tail is like combo combat and handmade metroidvania. Chaotic management games are cool like Factorio... puzzle platformers can be interesting.
Dungeon style (or mapping) games are all time fave like Etrian Odyssey...

I'm not surprised by Factorio here. Scientists OCD. But dungeon crawlers in 2025 ? It makes me happy, like grandpa happy lol. I can't play a dungeon crawler again, I'm done with this genre.
