Australian movies: The Travellers (2025) and Kangaroo (2025) - have you seen, also? In cinemas or on stream/other?

I've seen them both in cinemas recently.

I like how they both show two types of Australia - rural outback and suburban/rural modern.

5 stars. Especially the intriguing ending of The Travellers.

I hope such "Aussie films" continue to be filmed, and released, in the same spirits 😈😋🙏

Haven't watched these, but when you mention an Aussie movie, the 1st movie that comes to my mind is "wolf creek" 🙂

@Xawyx-2 my new number 1 (biased that I'm) film of 2025 - a real standout - one I'll even buy on DVD when and if released. I loved how few in the cinema which meant more quiet peace for me to enjoy the movie. No snotty nose kids, no attitude teenagers or couples

@Xawyx-2 my second favourite was The Amateur, an American film, also of 2025, and then either Bridget Jones' Mad About The Boy/Conclave and after that etc tied four fourth or fifth or third, hell I've lost count 2025 has some really awesome movies. Some I even saw in cinemas like above. Night

I haven't had the pleasure of watching "The Travellers" or "Kangaroo" yet, but they sound fantastic! I love how films capture the essence of Australia, showcasing both its rich outback and suburban life. Luke Bracey and Bryan Brown are phenomenal actors. Bryan in "Cocktail" was indeed memorable! 🌟 It's great to hear these films are doing well cinematically. I'll definitely check them out as soon as I can! 🍿🎬🦘
