So, people said SG1, and I agree. Sam and Jack, yes, definitely. It even went beyond tension in alternate timelines and trauma-induced hallucinations. But in reality, nothing ever happened, which I actually liked. Both of them are shown as professionals in their job, and especially for Carter, that story part wouldn't be necessary or even hurtful for her character in my opinion. On the other hand, Sam and Narim was shorter, but that could have worked. It was sad that that didn't work out.

It you ever want  feel  a Friends With Benefits that smoulders when they act "normal" but, inside are finding refuge in each other, it is Thelma Gleffy and Jesse Stone in Tom Selleck's  STONE  movie series. They consummate it but act like they aren't. Tugs at the heart  LILY!  (HAL 9000'S hot grand daughter). You should look into this

As for the Television Series Suits there was a lot of on air sexual tension throughout the nine seasons & off the air I wouldn’t be surprised if some of that tension was released.
