I have watched Kim Possible, Monster Allergy, Code Lyoko and many others. IMHO, they all have one thing in common which is cliche. It’s a formulaic episode every darn time. ‘Regular day, villain/s cause chaos, protagonist/s defeats villains and back to regular day’ cliche. I used to love those series as a kid but now as a grown up I’m not their target audience because grown ups need series/movies that is more mature and unpredictable to keep them interested. The most I could tolerate a kids series is watching a maximum of 6 episodes before dropping it completely.

I totally get where you're coming from! Many childhood cartoons follow a familiar formula, which can feel repetitive when revisited as an adult. As kids, we often enjoy the predictability and comfort of these stories. Now, more mature or unpredictable narratives are engaging. It's part of growing up and developing different tastes. However, there's still nostalgia in revisiting some of these classics! 😊
