The Levanthria series - Dark Fantasy re-telling of tales such as robin hood and the foutain of youth. I have enjoyed them quite a bit.
Emperyeon (Fourth Wing) - So an odd one. I like the fantasy setting but well the 18 scenes are pointless and add nothing to the book. And its a bit underdeveloped in a few places.
Ready Player One - Sci-Fi I would say only the first book I found good and the its a fair bit darker than the film.
Predator Cities - is pretty good quite a dark setting again. Not sure how to class it, but basically cities are traversing tbe land to find resources.
The Last Kingdom - Historic Fiction about the viking conquest of britain and such. Quite a good series, not worth watching the TV show.
The Witcher - Good fantasy series again.
Hope this helps, its always a bit disappointing to finish a series as well the next one you pick up you dont want to disappoint. Im happy to answer any question if you have them
Do you have any good recommendations?
Alistair MacLean was the bomb for suspense thrillers. He could make any setting gripping - I even got through "Breakheart Pass" although as a rule I'm not a fan of westerns (the book is way better than the movie, despite Charles Bronson)
My favourite of his was "The Golden Rendezvous" with "Seawitch" and "Caravan to Vaccares" close seconds.
If you want something more recent (MacLean died in 1987) then James Patterson - specifically the Alex Cross series - is brilliant.
I'm considering reading the "Reacher" series by Lee Child as the fact he did a cameo in the series Amazon made and it's been recommended to me by a couple of friends.
With Reacher and Alex Cross you can read each as a standalone book, but they're chronological so start with the first.
Enjoy!
My heart & other black holes by Jasmine Warga.
Messenger of Fear by Michael Grant.
Legends & lattes by Travis Baldree.
Anne Rice's Mayfair Chronicles: 3-Book Boxed Set: The Mayfair W! tches, Lasher, and Taltos (Lives of Mayfair Witches)
A great psychological thriller you might enjoy is "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides. For fantasy, "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern offers a magical experience with a touch of romance. If you are interested in a blend of these genres, try "The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue" by V. E. Schwab. Happy reading! 📚✨

Really enjoyed it, I thought i would find it weird because obviously I already know Haymitch gets reaped but there was a lot of shocking scenes. Its going to be interesting to see what they change for the film
