Why are there no so many great games?

My dad discovered NES and PS in 90s. So I was lucky about games.

But when it comes to PlayStation games, i have very very few favorites, i will tell you about my faves and pls you suggest me more according to my taste.

• Metal gear solid 1
• Resident evil 2-3
• Silent Hill 1-2
• GTA San Andreas
• Fahrenheit indigo prophecy
• Tekken 3-4
• Jackie Chan stuntmaster

As you see, i love games with great stories and cutscenes. And cannot find more...

Metal gear solid - Not my genre of games.

Resident Evil is one of my favorites (1, 2, 3 and Code Veronica).

Silent Hill - a bit confusing, but still interesting game.

GTA - not my genre of game, but I can watch other people play it.

Fahrenheit - Crappy controls, and too difficult even on easy level, one of the worst games from my point of view.

Tekken - One of my favorite fighting game series, and one of my favorite games in general (fighting games are my favorite genre).

Jackie Chan stuntmaster - Never tried it, but sounds interesting.

I would add:

Soul Blade / Soul Calibur - Fighting game with best story.

Tomb Raider - you probably know this one.

Final Fantasy - One of the best RPG games ever.

Until Dawn - One of the best horror games ever, great story.

The Quarry - Another fantastic horror game with awesome story.
