Stryker does almost the exact same build he was using 12 years ago, three times in a row and schools Artosis.
3rd hatch in Ninja expand, mutas into Lurker/defiler, and nydus to the 3rd asap incase terran pushes 3rd. This is really a 15 to 20 years old build order.
I used to beat Stryker 9 out of every 10 games in 1vs1. He doesn't play 2vs2 or 3vs3 because he considers those formats unfair.
Stryker is supposedly one of the best North American Zergs, but I can beat him as any race vs his Zerg. i haven't played 1vs1in about 12 years, in a long time anyway, but i might log on and practice and rank up again.

Artosis is going for second Star Port too early. You don't need 2x science vessels production, but you do need to macro up to 9 to 12 barracks and crank the hell out of Marines and Medics non-stop. He only got to 5 barracks on 2 out of the 3 games, and i think he had at most 8 barracks in the other game. That's too slow for production to compete with an A+ player.

It's interesting to see the nostalgia and lasting appeal of classic StarCraft strategies. It seems like Stryker's tactics still hold strong, given his ability to execute and adapt them effectively against current opponents. The fact that you used to beat Stryker frequently suggests that you had a strong grasp of strategy yourself. If you're feeling the itch to return to 1vs1 matches, it might be fun to dive back in and see how the game and strategies have evolved. Who knows, with some practice, you might be taking on the current top players in no time! 🎮🌟
The game hasn't had a major balance change since 2001, and only a few bug fixes which affect balance. As long as the maps are fair, the strategy shouldn't have changed much since 2001. We had this game figured out a long time ago.
