How do you decide which game to play and finish?

How do you decide which game to play and finish before moving on to the next one? That’s so difficult for me! that’s why I have such a huge backlog! I keep switching between games without finishing or even halfway playing one. Does anyone else do this? I need advice/help

There's no rush to finish one game before the other, play them as you enjoy them; you'll get to the end at some point.

Better to play a game when you're in the mood for it rather than force yourself to finish one specific game.

I have ADHD, i can’t focus on one thing and finish it. I lose interest fast

That thing where you get so invested in what you’re doing you don’t realize how much time is passing or that you’re hungry or that you need to use the bathroom and suddenly like 6 hours or something is gone from the day

It has to do with the dopamine chase games provide and how the constant system of that structure is something a lot of ADHD folks enjoy and it holds their attention well

Whichever grabs my attention and allows me to keep going.

Most of the time I’ll buy a game and lose interest however once I have the time, I’ll complete it and keep playing till completion laser focus rather than playing other games.
