You are in luck. Go to a thrift store. Not only do they sometimes have the players, they got VHS movies for dirt heap I heard. Like $3 for a movie? So if you find a player chances are they got a couple of movies to buy for it. And then you can start a hobby of looking around and seeing if you can find some online. Others sell the VHS's in bundles online.

While I still have a working, high-end VCR, it's only for digitizing old home movies and such. It's horrible for watching Hollywood movies - it has the resolution of a postage stamp.

As a techie guy, there's not a lot of tech that I'd want to go back to. Other than that cell phones should still have analog headphone jacks and SD card slots.

I forgot what they’re called but those little radios that you could put a small cassette into and it would play songs.. you had to buy each one individually for a different song. lol

I would love to have a VCR so that I could watch two of the three original Star Wars movies that I found at a thrift shop on VHS. Y'know... the versions that were actually in theaters, the un-Special Editioned versions.

I remember VCRs. Damn. And when the tape got stuck your mom had to stop and take it out and then fast forward back to where you were at lol.

Old school "boom box" radio/stereos. They had some of the best sound ever.
