Best book you've ever read?

Aside from our Holy book it is still, for 42 years and a couple of months 'FEVRE DREAM' by George R. R. Martin. I think I've read it only 3 times but it's been about 28 years since the last time. I'm not really into the vampire stuff in books although I enjoyed the movie junk years ago. But this book was special to me for various reasons that I'm not sure I understand at the moment or maybe I rather not open that just yet.
