Not really 😄 PRS is more known for its crazy flame/quilt maple tops and bird inlays than for being “red.”

You probably see a lot of them in Cherry Sunburst or variations like Scarlet Red, so they stick in people’s minds. But PRS does tons of finishes: blues, greens, purples, ambers, black bursts, even wild limited colors. 🎸✨

No. I worked at Guitar Center for two years in the mid 90’s, and Paul Reed Smith guitars have always been available in a broad color palette. That being said, perhaps a few nationally recognized musicians have used red guitars more commonly, thus causing the color to be associated with the line.
